
The heat wave has made for high water on
the glacier fed rivers. While most of the debris has been washed out on the
Talkeetna River, boat drivers may be challenged by the shallow waters of
streams and creeks that have no more snow melt and lack of rainfall.
KTNA’s Katie Writer spoke with Jared Parker of
Talkeetna Fishing Guides about traveling the Talkeetna River and clear water
creeks for trout and grayling fishing.
