Alaska State Troopers are searching for a missing man in the Northern Susitna Valley.
Troopers say 55-year-old Alexander Guest was reported missing on Sunday after he didn’t return home from a trip into the woods to collect chaga mushrooms. He was last seen on Saturday afternoon leaving his home near Mile 86.5 of the Parks Highway.
A ground search involving Alaska State Troopers and MATSAR is currently ongoing. Anyone with information related to this incident is urged to contact Troopers at 352-5401.
