10:32 pm – Four precincts have not yet reported for the District 7 borough race: Willow, Susitna, Meadow Lakes 1, and Meadow Lakes 2. Challenger Sheena Fort currently leads incumbent Ron Berner 465 to 459.
10:27 pm – The three districts remaining to report for House District 30 are Cantwell, Big Lake, and Denali Park.
In the borough race, 924 votes have been counted so far in District 7. Just over 1,500 absentee ballots were issued in the district. Over 5500 were issued borough-wide.
10:13 pm – Nine of twelve precincts have now reported for House District 30. Rep. Kevin McCabe currently leads Doyle Holmes 2541 to 2361.
On the borough side, Houston has reported, bringing the precinct count to four. Sheena Fort leads incumbent Ron Bernier 434 to 412 for the District 7 Mat-Su Borough Assembly Seat.
9:50 pm – As of now, six of the twelve precincts have reported in the race for House District 30. Currently, incumbent Rep. Kevin McCabe leads challenger Doyle Holmes 652 to 603.
In the borough race for Assembly District 7, three of nine precincts have reported, Sheep Mountain, Trapper Creek, and Talkeetna. Challenger Sheena Fort currently leads incumbent Ron Bernier 282 to 141.
9:36 pm – Results are in for the Talkeetna Community Council elections. Jodi Rodwell, Jon Korta, Kara Walker, and Kai Leddy have been elected to two-year terms. Brad Hughes and write-in candidate Elliot Hunker will serve one-year terms.

9:11 pm – Only one precinct has posted results for the borough elections as of now. One interesting fact on the borough’s election page is that 400 absentee ballots were issued in Talkeetna, second most in the Mat-Su behind only Houston.
9:08 pm – State election results are starting to come in. Four of the twelve precincts in District 30 have reported so far. We are now airing Alaska Public Media’s live election coverage. KTNA’s Phillip Manning will be on at 9:57 with the most up-to-date information on local races.
