Su Valley Voice:  Government Check-in and Education Funding

The third Thursday of the month is our monthly Government Check-in show.   In this episode we heard brief updates from Upper Susitna Valley Community Councils and Borough Mayor DeVries.  Alaska State Senator Mike Shower and Representative McCabe join by phone to give their own respective updates on work they are doing as the legislative session winds down.  In the second half of the show the focus is on education and the way it is funded.  We hear an audio clip from Mat Su Borough School Board Member for District 7, Ted Swanson.
