Submit Announcement/Classified/Denali Echo/Calendar

Staff will add submissions from this form to the KTNA announcement page during office hours, Monday through Friday, 10 am to 3 pm.  Obituaries may also be submitted for inclusion on our homepage.  To get a Denali Echo on the air over the weekend, leave a voice mail on the studio line at (907) 733-1200.

Announcements are ordered by date of event and aired as time allows, classifieds 9 times, echoes 6 times.
All announcements will be also added to the KTNA Community Calendar.

Guidelines

KTNA airs announcements from non-profit and not-for-profit organizations and individuals to serve the community as the primary source of information for upcoming events. Suitable events for announcements include meetings, public workshops and classes, cultural events, school functions, memorials, medical clinics, and musical performances. KTNA does not announce private events.

Before submitting, please review KTNA’s complete announcement policy.

  • Include event date, time, and location.
  • Limit your announcement to the most relevant information.
  • Include contact information such as a phone number or email, for people seeking more information or who have questions.
  • Calls to action (come see, go to, join, etc.) are not allowed. You can invite or welcome people.
  • When wording announcements and classifieds, steer clear of subjective language (including adjectives and adverbs).
  • Do not use first person (we, our, us, etc.). Use “they”, the name of your organization, etc.
  • KTNA cannot announce prices or gambling activities (Free, split the pot, etc.)

A copy of your submission will be emailed to you.

KTNA reserves editorial rights over all announcements.
