Clinic Closures – Sunshine Community Health Center

Sunshine Community Health Center will be closed on New Years Day, January 1st. This includes the Talkeetna and Willow clinics. They remind you to plan ahead for prescriptions, appointments and care needs.

Additional Hurricane Turn for the New Year

Due to extreme cold temperatures, the Alaska Railroad will NOT be running the normally scheduled Aurora Winter Train this weekend. To accommodate residents who use the Flag Stop Railroad, they will run an additional Hurricane Turn Train on Saturday, January 3rd at its normally scheduled time, northbound from Talkeetna at 11:25am. There will be NO Trains heading south on Sunday.
