The Talkeetna Library is seeking pie donations for Pi Day on Saturday, March 14th. If you would like to donate a pie, please contact them at (907)861-7645. Pi is a mathematical term but the Talkeetna Library will not be solving geometry problems, they will be serving Pie from 11am to 5pm, or until the pie runs out.

The Talkeetna Community Council (TCCI) Community Assistance Program (CAP) Grant Cycle is open through Sunday, March 15th. Grant applications can be submitted through the TCCI website at talkeetnacouncil.org/cap. Denali Arts Council is seeking storytellers for the upcoming Arctic Entries on Saturday, April 4th. The theme is Potholes and Promises, Stories of bumps in the road, where they lead and how you kept going. The stories need to be true, written in the first person and seven minutes long. The Talkeetna Library’s Seed Catalog is up and running. Herb, vegetable, and flower seeds are available. The Library is in need of some herb starts for the community herb garden. The Friends of the Talkeetna Library are holding a Book Sale at the Talkeetna Public Library beginning Friday, March 27. Items include new and lightly used books, videos, audio books, and even some VHS tapes. Proceeds support the Talkeetna Library's programs for all ages. There will also be coffee.
