Fund Your Future Financial Aid Resource Fair
Mat-Su CollegeMat-Su College is hosting the Fund Your Future Financial Aid Resource Fair on Saturday, February 8th from 10am until 3pm, at Mat-Su College, 8295 East College Drive, in Palmer. Financial Aid Advisors will be joined by representatives from organizations across the Valley offering grants and scholarships for Mat-Su Valley Students. There will also be a FAFSA Completion Room to help students complete their application for Federal Student Aid. Sheldon Community Arts HangarDenali Arts Council hosts the Fiber February Art Show on Sunday, February 9th from 3 to 7pm at the Sheldon Community Arts Hangar. There will also be spinning demonstrations and sheep on display. Fiber February features the fascinating world of fiber art. AARP Tax Assistance appointments
Upper Susitna Community and Senior Center 16463 E. Helena Ave. / Mile 98.5 Parks Hwy., Sunshine, AlaskaAARP (American Association of Retired Persons) tax representatives are available to assist local residents on completing their 2024 taxes. They will be at the Upper Susitna Community and Senior Center from 10am until 4pm every other Wednesday, until April 9th. Assistance is by appointment only, you can schedule by calling 211 or (800) 478-2221 or visit taxappointment.aarp.org. Available dates are: February 26th, March 12th, March 26th, and April 9th. Appointments are available on alternative Wednesdays at Houston City Hall.
