    The Denali Nordic Ski Club hosts the annual Poker Ski, a 7.5ish mile ski from the Flying Squirrel Bakery and Cafe to Denali BrewPub, downtown.  This ski begins at 12pm from the Flying Squirrel and is fun for all ages.

  • Complexities of Love Rehearsals – Denali Arts Council

    The variety show, Complexities of Love, is February 13th and 14th and Denali Arts Council is looking for performers. If you have a talent you’d like to share—dance, music, singing, comedy, poetry, puppetry, or anything else—they’d love to hear from you. The final rehearsal and audition is on Sunday, February 8th, from 3 to 5pm at the Sheldon Community Arts Hangar. You must audition for Jenny in order to be included in the show.     Volunteers with the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide program will be available to help community members with preparing and filing income taxes. Preparation will happen on Wednesdays, beginning February 4th, alternating each week between the Houston City Hall and the Upper Susitna Community & Senior Center.
