Mat-Su libraries are closed on Monday March 30th for Seward's Day. This includes Trapper Creek, Talkeetna and Willow Public Library.

The Talkeetna Public Library hosts a weekly afterschool program called Reading Tuesdays. Students are welcome to come and read, work on homework or a craft, and spend time with friends from 3:15 until 5pm every Tuesday. Sunshine Transit is available to pick up students at Talkeetna Elementary School and bring them to the library. Permission slips are required. The Talkeetna Community Council's Community Assistance Program (CAP) Grant Committee is meeting on Tuesday, March 31st at 6:00PM at the Talkeetna Public Library. Email cap@talkeetnacouncil.org to learn more. All are welcome.

KTNA and Su Valley High School are collaborating to start a Radio Journalism Afterschool Club for the remainder of the school year. This Club is open to all Su Valley students, from middle to high school level. The Club will meet every Wednesday from 3:15-4:15pm at Su Valley High School beginning March 4th. Talkeetna Elementary PTA hosts Competitive Pickleball for knowledgeable players seeking competitive bouts from 5 to 8 pm on Wednesday, April 1st. Attendees will rotate through games of four players at a time, equipment is available if you do not have your own. Wednesday evening pickleball is held at Talkeetna Elementary School's gym, play will move outside to the hockey rink when weather and temperatures permit.
