Talkeetna Transfer Station Mile, 11.5 Talkeetna Spur Rd, Talkeetna, AK, United StatesTalkeetna Recycling is open on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 12:00 to 4:00 pm at the Talkeetna Transfer station. Reading Tuesdays – Talkeetna Public Library
Talkeetna Public Library TalkeetnaThe Talkeetna Public Library hosts a weekly afterschool program called Reading Tuesdays. Students are welcome to come and read, work on homework or a craft, and spend time with friends from 3:15 until 5pm every Tuesday. Sunshine Transit is available to pick up students at Talkeetna Elementary School and bring them to the library. Permission slips are required. Radio Journalism Afterschool Club
Su Valley Jr/Sr High SchoolKTNA and Su Valley High School are collaborating to start a Radio Journalism Afterschool Club for the remainder of the school year. This Club is open to all Su Valley students, from middle to high school level. The Club will meet every Wednesday from 3:15-4:15pm at Su Valley High School beginning March 4th. Competitive Pickle Ball – Community Enrichment – Talkeetna Elementary PTA
Talkeetna Elementary SchoolTalkeetna Elementary PTA hosts Competitive Pickleball for knowledgeable players seeking competitive bouts from 5 to 8 pm on Wednesday, April 1st. Attendees will rotate through games of four players at a time, equipment is available if you do not have your own. Wednesday evening pickleball is held at Talkeetna Elementary School's gym, play will move outside to the hockey rink when weather and temperatures permit.
