    Alaska Commission on Aging is hosting a public webinar with Social Security Administration Regional Public Affairs Specialist, Nathan Cole, on Social Security and Medicare at the Talkeetna Public Library on Tuesday, April 7th, beginning at 12pm. Following the webinar, Sean McPhilamy, a volunteer with the State of Alaska’s Medicare Information Office, will provide an overview on Medicare. After the general discussion, he will be available for one-on-one conversations as needed, until 3pm. If you have questions you need answered, you are welcome to email them ahead of time to doh.acoa.info@alaska.gov.     Talkeetna Elementary PTA hosts Competitive Pickleball for knowledgeable players seeking competitive bouts from 5 to 8 pm on Wednesdays. Attendees will rotate through games of four players at a time, equipment is available if you do not have your own. Wednesday evening pickleball is held at Talkeetna Elementary School's gym, play will move outside to the hockey rink when weather and temperatures permit. The run starts at the Sheldon Community Arts Hangar at 12pm, winding through some soggy spring snow along the Chase Trail, and finishing at the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge.
