Seasonal position at the Talkeetna ranger station
The Walter Harper Talkeetna Ranger station is hiring a seasonal Recreation Fee Technician. This front desk position assists in climbing registration, issuing park passes and answering visitor questions through mid-September. Applications are accepted through USA Jobs by submitting a two-page resume and completing the local hire questionnaire. The application period is open through 7:59 pm on April 8th. Radio Journalism Afterschool Club
Su Valley Jr/Sr High SchoolKTNA and Su Valley High School are collaborating to start a Radio Journalism Afterschool Club for the remainder of the school year. This Club is open to all Su Valley students, from middle to high school level. The Club will meet every Wednesday from 3:15-4:15pm at Su Valley High School beginning March 4th. Competitive Pickle Ball – Community Enrichment – Talkeetna Elementary PTA
Talkeetna Elementary SchoolTalkeetna Elementary PTA hosts Competitive Pickleball for knowledgeable players seeking competitive bouts from 5 to 8 pm on Wednesdays. Attendees will rotate through games of four players at a time, equipment is available if you do not have your own. Wednesday evening pickleball is held at Talkeetna Elementary School's gym, play will move outside to the hockey rink when weather and temperatures permit.
