  • Clean Air Challenge bike ride – American Lung Association

    The American Lung Association in Alaska is hosting the 42nd annual Clean Air Challenge bike ride on Saturday, May 9th. The roundtrip ride begins and ends at Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge. There will be a finish party at 6:00 p.m. at the lodge. Staggered start times are determined by ride distance.

  • Mother’s Day Concert – Denali Arts Council

    The Denali Arts Council's Music Academy presents a Mother's Day Concert on Sunday, May 10th at the Sheldon Community Arts Hangar. The program features the Rhythm and Red Shoes Ensemble, Desperate Measures and the Community Choir, performing a mix of classical and pop pieces. Doors open at 3:30pm and the concert starts at 4pm.
