Talkeetna Public Library TalkeetnaThe Friends of the Talkeetna Library host computer classes every 2nd and 4th Friday from 1 to 3pm at the Talkeetna Public Library. Talkeetna-Trapper Creek Birdathon
The 36th annual Talkeetna-Trapper Creek Birdathon starts Friday May 8th, at 6 pm, and continue until 6 pm on Saturday, May 9th. Area residents and their guests are welcome to participate by identifying as many species of birds as can be found in the count circle during the 24 hour period. You can go birding by yourself or with family or friends, traveling “green” or using a vehicle. Participants gather around a fire in the evening on Saturday, location to be announced. Su Valley Jr/Sr High SchoolKTNA and Su Valley High School are collaborating to start a Radio Journalism Afterschool Club for the remainder of the school year. This Club is open to all Su Valley students, from middle to high school level. The Club will meet every Wednesday from 3:15-4:15pm at Su Valley High School beginning March 4th.
