    Here’s what’s coming up at the Willow Public Library:

    • Willow Library Mentoring Program meets each Wednesday from 3:15 to 4:30pm. This program is open to all Willow Elementary Students. Additional mentors are needed.
    • Story Time followed by free play in the Community Center is on Thursdays at 11am. This is geared toward ages 0-5, but all are welcome.

    Talkeetna Public Library hosts Storytime every Thursday at 11:15am. There will be stories, snacks and a craft. All ages are welcome. Grab and Go craft kits will be available after 1pm in the foyer for those unable to attend. You can reach the library at 907-861-7645.

    The Trapper Creek Community Council meets the 3rd Thursday of every month at 6:30pm at the Trapper Community Center. The next meeting is Thursday, May 15th. All are welcome to attend.

  • Willow Summer Trails challenge

    The Willow Summer Trails challenge begins May 16, and ends September 26th. Passports with listed Willow community trail descriptions are available at the Willow Library. Participants will document their hike with selfies. A culminating event to award prizes will be held on September 27th. This event is a partnership between the Willow Trails Committee and the Willow Library. Questions may be addressed to the Library staff at 907-861-7655.

This lineup of films captures the spirit of adventure and perseverance in the world of fly fishing. Doors open at 6:30pm and the film starts at 7pm.
