    The Mat-Su Borough hosts the 17th Annual Emergency Preparedness Expo on Saturday, September 20, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Menard Sports Center, located at 1001 S Clapp Street, Wasilla. This free, family-friendly event is open to the public and features over 90 indoor and outdoor exhibitors, hands-on activities, and live demonstrations focused on emergency readiness.     Here’s what’s coming up at the Willow Public Library:

    • Willow Library Mentoring Program meets each Wednesday from 3:15 to 4:30pm. This program is open to all Willow Elementary Students. Additional mentors are needed.
    • Story Time followed by free play in the Community Center is on Thursdays at 11am. This is geared toward ages 0-5, but all are welcome.

  • Willow Winter Carnival is looking for musicians or dance groups

    The Willow Winter Carnival is looking for musicians or dance groups to perform on stage during the four day Carnival. The Carnival is filled with outdoor and indoor events with vendors and food at the Willow Community Center. Performances are scheduled for approximately an hour.
