This 7-week long cooking program is open to 4th and 5th graders and homeschool students are welcome. Strong Women exercise group meet at 10 am at the Talkeetna Public Library on Tuesdays and Thursdays. A Zoom option is available. Talkeetna Recycling is open on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 12:00 to 4:00 pm at the Talkeetna Transfer station. Cardboard recycling is available on Saturdays only. They are always looking for volunteers. To learn more, call Cici at (907)355-8324 and visit their Facebook Page.

This program is for 1st through 3rd graders and is designed to help new readers get experience and confidence in reading out loud. Volunteers with the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide program will be available to help community members with preparing and filing income taxes. Preparation will happen on Wednesdays, beginning February 4th, alternating each week between the Houston City Hall and the Upper Susitna Community & Senior Center.
