Raising Spirits Festival – Denali Arts Council
Sheldon Community Arts HangarDenali Arts Council presents their annual fundraiser, Raising Spirits, on Saturday, February 28th from 4 to 7pm. This elegant event features artisan-crafted cocktails from five Alaskan distilleries, catered food, aerial performances, and a silent auction. Reading Mentors – Talkeetna Public Library
Talkeetna Public Library TalkeetnaTalkeetna Public Library's Reading Mentors program is on Tuesdays at 3:15pm. This program is for 1st through 3rd graders and is designed to help new readers get experience and confidence in reading out loud. Appointments available for Income Tax preparation
Upper Susitna Community and Senior Center 16463 E. Helena Ave. / Mile 98.5 Parks Hwy., Sunshine, Alaska +1 moreVolunteers with the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide program will be available to help community members with preparing and filing income taxes. Preparation will happen on Wednesdays, beginning February 4th, alternating each week between the Houston City Hall and the Upper Susitna Community & Senior Center.
