Volunteers needed for Summer Reading Program
The Talkeetna Public Library is looking for a volunteers for their Summer Reading Program. This is a weekly program with different weekly themes. The first day is Thursday, May 28, beginning with programming at 11:15am followed by Lunch on the Lawn. If you would like to present a program to the younger children, to the tweens and teens, or to adults, please call the library. at 907-861-7645.

Students are welcome to come and read, work on homework or a craft, and spend time with friends from 3:15 until 5pm every Tuesday. Radio Journalism Afterschool Club
Su Valley Jr/Sr High SchoolKTNA and Su Valley High School are collaborating to start a Radio Journalism Afterschool Club for the remainder of the school year. This Club is open to all Su Valley students, from middle to high school level. The Club will meet every Wednesday from 3:15-4:15pm at Su Valley High School beginning March 4th. Scholarship opportunity – Sunshine Community Health Center
Sunshine Community Health Center (SCHC) Student Scholarship Program is accepting applications from high school seniors pursuing degrees or certificates in health care, behavioral health, and social services by awarding scholarships of up to $2,500. These scholarships recognize students who have demonstrated leadership, community involvement, and a dedication to wellness. The deadline is May 1st.
