  • Live at Five – Music in the Park Talkeetna – Final one this season

    Denali Arts Council and Talkeetna Chamber of Commerce host Live at Five, a family friendly music event at the Talkeetna Village Park, on Fridays at 5pm, rain or shine. The music this week is Zen Trembles. This is the last Live at Five for the season.

    Denali Education Center hosts Mushrooms of Alaska, a talk and foray presented by Kate Mohatt and Noah Siegel exploring the wide variety of mushrooms native to the region. All are welcome to attend the lecture at the Susitna Hall in Talkeetna at 11am, followed by a mushroom foray at 1pm on Saturday, August 30th. Topics include a new material acquisition policy that was inaugurated on September 1st.
