Su Dog 300 – Sled Dog Race – Soup Dog
Willow Community CenterThe Su Dog 300 Sled Dog Race continues through February 24th. Soup Dog is on Monday, February 23rd starting at 5pm at the Willow Community Center. This is a community event and soup competition. It's timed so people will come together, enjoy food, and possibly see the first few mushers cross the finish line. Train service changes – Alaska Railroad
Due to the extreme temperatures in Fairbanks Thursday evening to Friday morning, the Alaska Railroad is canceling the Thursday/Friday Aurora Winter Train.
Today (Thursday), they are running the Hurricane Turn schedule. Light food service from the Bistro will be available.
On Friday, there will be no train service available.As of now, the Aurora train is still scheduled for Saturday northbound and Sunday southbound.
