  • Soggy Sneaker 5K Run – Denali Arts Council

    Denali Arts Council hosts the Soggy Sneaker 5K Run as part of the Banff Film Festival festivities on Saturday, April 11th. The run starts at the Sheldon Community Arts Hangar at 12pm, winding through some soggy spring snow along the Chase Trail, and finishing at the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge.     Sunshine Community Health Center (SCHC) Student Scholarship Program supports high school seniors pursuing degrees or certificates in health care, behavioral health, and social services by awarding scholarships of up to $2,500. These scholarships recognize students who have demonstrated leadership, community involvement, and a dedication to wellness, helping to build a stronger health workforce in the Matanuska-Susitna Valley and beyond.
