    The Seed Catalog at the Talkeetna Public Library is up and running for this season. The main selection right now is herbs. There are seed starting trays, pamphlets and books with helpful information. Seeds for flowers and vegetables should be ready soon,

    The Talkeetna Public Library hosts the The Sizzle & Stir Club beginning today (Monday, January 12th). This 7-week long cooking program is open to 4th and 5th graders and homeschool students are welcome. Transportation from Talkeetna Elementary School to the library will be provided by Sunshine Transit.   • Strong Women Exercise Group – Talkeetna Public Library

    Strong Women exercise group meet at 10 am at the Talkeetna Public Library on Tuesdays and Thursdays. A Zoom option is available. This program is aimed at improving strength, balance and flexibility for women over 40 years old. Newcomers are always welcome, weights and instructions are provided.     Talkeetna Public Library's Reading Mentors program is on Tuesdays at 3:15pm. This program is for 1st through 3rd graders and is designed to help new readers get experience and confidence in reading out loud. Transportation from Talkeetna Elementary School to the library will be provided by Sunshine Transit.     KTNA and Su Valley High School are collaborating to start a Radio Journalism Afterschool Club for the remainder of the school year. This Club is open to all Su Valley students, from middle to high school level. The Club will meet every Wednesday from 3:15-4:15pm at Su Valley High School beginning March 4th. If you are a student or parent and would like to learn more or become involved, please reach out to Teacher Cory O'Dell or School Librarian Tracy Steere.

    There will be a Caswell Lakes Road Service Area (RSA 15) meeting on Monday, March 9th at 6:30PM at Sheep Creek Lodge.
