Susitna Basin Recreation Rivers Management Plan Issued for Public Review and Comment. Representatives from the Division of Mining, Land & Water will be present at these meetings to answer questions you may have about the plan.

The second annual Talkeetna Ice Carving Competition, held in the downtown Village Park. Novice and expert carvers are welcome and this year there is a youth category. No experience necessary. Sculptures begin carving on February 1st and must be completed be 12pm on Saturday, February 3rd. More information and Registration Here
