There are seed starting trays, pamphlets and books with helpful information. Seeds for flowers and vegetables should be ready soon, The Talkeetna Public Library hosts the The Sizzle & Stir Club beginning today (Monday, January 12th). This 7-week long cooking program is open to 4th and 5th graders and homeschool students are welcome. Transportation from Talkeetna Elementary School to the library will be provided by Sunshine Transit. Preparation will happen on Wednesdays, beginning February 4th, alternating each week between the Houston City Hall and the Upper Susitna Community & Senior Center. Attendees are able to bid on skateboards designed by local artists and watch the Family-Feud style game show play out live.
