The Talkeetna Public Library’s Summer Reading Program is on Thursday, July 17th with the following activities:

• Storytime begins 11am with a snack, stories, and a craft. Attendees will meet some Iditarod dogs and hear Heather Sirtola talk about her dog mushing adventures.
• Lunch on the Lawn is at 12pm.
• The Summer Reading Program for all ages begins at 1pm. This week Solstice Rescue Dogs will be at the library with dogs that are specially trained to rescue people from danger.
• There are 3 more weeks of activities and reading incentives, all ages are welcome to attend. All reading logs must be turned in by Noon on Thursday, August 7th.
