The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities has launched the National Environmental Policy Act process for the West Susitna Access Road project. A proposed 22-mile road to improve access to six million acres in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough. The public comment period is open through Friday, August 23rd.
