Denali Arts Council hosts the Alaska B4uDie Comedy Festival on Thursday and Friday, April 2nd and 3rd at the Sheldon Community Arts Hangar. Thursday's show is an array of national comedians spanning the country, and the B4uDie Fest Alumni, Hayden Kristal. Friday will showcase a mix of national comedians, and some talented Alaskan comedians. Doors for both nights open at 6:30pm and the jokes start at 7pm. Denali Arts Council hosts their monthly First Saturday Arts Show from 4 to 6pm on Saturday, April 4th at the Sheldon Community Arts Hangar. Denali Arts Council's hosts the Soggy Sneaker 5K Run as part of the Banff Film Festival festivities on Saturday, April 11th. The run starts at the Sheldon Community Arts Hangar at 12pm, winding through some soggy spring snow along the Chase Trail, and finishing at the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge.
