    National Library Week begins on Monday, April 20th. The theme this year is Find Your Joy. Daily events and surprises are being planned. If you have requests or suggestions, you may call Talkeetna Library at 907-861-7645.

  • Talkeetna Sunshine Gardening Club – Talkeetna Library

    Talkeetna Public Library Talkeetna

    The Talkeetna Sunshine Gardening Club is starting up again at the Talkeetna Library. They will be meeting to discuss Transplanting Seedlings today, Tuesday April 14th at 5pm. The next meeting times and dates will also be discussed. The yearly Seed Catalog is stocked. A wide variety of seeds are available for taking and planting in your gardens.   • Stone Soup cooking class – Talkeetna Library

    Talkeetna Library hosts Stone Soup cooking class at 5pm on Wednesdays, beginning on April 15th. Angela Frazier will be the chef this month. If you are interested in taking part in this series, you can get on the waiting list by calling 907-861-7645.

    The Friends of the Talkeetna Library host computer classes every 2nd and 4th Friday from 1 to 3pm at the Talkeetna Public Library. The classes include: Basic Computing, How Not to Be Fooled by Spam and AI, Basic Internet, Windows 11, and more. The schedule including topics can be found in the event on KTNA's calendar.
