    KTNA is seeking volunteers for our new community journalism program. The Upper Susitna Valley is full of stories, and we are seeking community members who want to help us cover them. KTNA will host training sessions on Thursday, December 11th from 6:30-8 pm and Saturday, December 13th from 10:30 am to noon. There will be an option to join via Zoom.   • Album Cover Art Recreation Contest

    KTNA is now accepting submissions for the upcoming Album Cover Art Recreation Contest. To participate, choose an album cover and use your imagination and creativity to recreate it. Any art style is accepted - you could dress up and take a picture, draw it, or photoshop it. Submit your recreation to supportKTNA@ktna.org by December 15th. The Album Cover Art Show will hang at the Sheldon Community Arts Hangar for the month of January, voting is on January 17th during KTNA's Annual Celebration.     Save the date! KTNA hosts our Annual Celebration and Membership Meeting on Saturday, January 17th at the Sheldon Community Arts Hangar. Come hungry, we will have a taco bar from 5 to 6:30pm. This year we host a Vinyl Dance Party beginning at 6:30pm, dress up and dance the night away as our DJs spin vinyl records. This is also your chance to vote on your favorite album art recreation from our Album Art Show/Contest! Learn more at KTNA.org.

    KTNA's Annual Decadent Dessert Auction is this week! Tune in daily as we auction off delicious, locally-crafted works of art. The live, on-air auctions are held at 2pm and 8pm Monday through Thursday. On Friday we are hosting on-air auctions at 1 pm and 2pm. Then our finale is during a Decadent Dessert skit at the Complexities of Love variety show at the Sheldon Community Arts Hangar on Friday and Saturday evenings.     Su Valley Jr/Sr High School

    KTNA and Su Valley High School are collaborating to start a Radio Journalism Afterschool Club for the remainder of the school year. This Club is open to all Su Valley students, from middle to high school level. The Club will meet every Wednesday from 3:15-4:15pm at Su Valley High School beginning March 4th. If you are a student or parent and would like to learn more or become involved, please reach out to Teacher Cory O'Dell or School Librarian Tracy Steere.

    KTNA is hiring! We are currently looking for a full-time News Producer and part-time Development Coordinator. The News Producer writes local stories and oversees the work of staff and volunteer reporters. The Development Coordinator is responsible for KTNA's membership and underwriting programs as well as coordination of events. Find the complete job descriptions at ktna.org.
