This is a different version of the story than you might know. We also played the story of Sadko, a talented gusli musician whose playing pleased Tsar Morskoi, kind of Russian Poseidon. What is a gusli? It is a Russian plucked-string folk instrument similar to a lyre. It can come in several different shapes, and have varying numbers of strings.
