On this episode we are back with our monthly Government Check-in. We first hear updates from area community councils, the Borough Mayor and Alaska State Senator Shower.
The Civic & Non Profit Engagement Fair at this year’s Earth Day Celebration – happening at Denali Education Center on Saturday, April 19th from 11am – 3pm – is the featured topic the rest of the hour. KTNA, Mat Su Sentinel and Denali Education Center all collaborated to create the Civic Fair and the organizers will be on hand to discuss that effort. Many of the non profits that plan to participate in the Earth Day event both contributed audio clips, called in or came to the studio.
