Matanuska Electric Association crews worked to restore power to 385 customers on wednesday after high winds caused tree fall that took out some lines.
MEA spokesman Kevin Brown says the northern valley has had fewer outages this winter. This is in part due to upgrades made in the system, and a rebuilt substation that was completed in Spring of 2012.
