Over the past weekend in Talkeetna, an individual was seen entering multiple properties along Spur Road in the early morning. The individual carried a flashlight making their way down the street, moving from property to property.
The Alaska State Troopers stated they received a report of suspicious activity later that day at 10 a.m. They said it was unclear whether the individual acted alone when entering the properties.
A trooper was then dispatched to the scene, but by the time they arrived, they were unable to find anything of consequence.
While the individual or individuals entering the properties are currently unknown, the Alaska State Troopers encouraged residents to keep an eye out and report any suspicious activity in the area.
KTNA is awaiting an update from the Alaska State Troopers with more detailed information about the report.
