There is an indoor Garage Sale happening every Saturday and Sunday from 10am until 2pm, through January 10th. Lots of Christmas things and other stuff. Follow the signs that will be up each weekend, in downtown Talkeetna.

Silent Auction Fundraiser – Talkeetna Elementary School
Talkeetna Elementary School is hosting an online silent auction fundraiser to benefit 4th and 5th grade educational field trips to Kachemak Bay in Homer and to Denali National Park. Tween Page to Screen – Talkeetna Public Library
Talkeetna Public Library TalkeetnaTalkeetna Public Library hosts the next Tween Page to Screen program on Saturday, December 13th. This month will feature the book, The Seeker, by Susan Cooper. Tweens ages 9 to 12 will enjoy snacks, discuss the book and watch the movie. The program is from 5 to 7pm. Next months selection is, Holes, by Luis Sachar and will be handed out after the movie.
