Fireweed Festival
Trapper Creek Community Services hosts the Fireweed Festival on Saturday, July 18th at the Trapper Creek Community Park. The festival is filled with craft vendors, food trucks, live music, and fun entertainment. Kids Softball – Upper Susitna Softball Association
The Upper Susitna Softball Association is offering all kids complementary hot dogs and hamburgers for participating in a softball game and skills competition this Friday, June 19th starting a 3:30 PM at the ball field in Talkeetna. The fun will conclude before Live at 5. This event is for kids of ages around 5-13 years years old.
Live at Five
Talkeetna Village ParkThe Denali Arts Council and the Talkeetna Chamber of Commerce host Live at Five, an annual Summer Concert series beginning this Friday, May 17th. The weekly concerts are family-friendly and are every Friday from 5-7 pm at the Talkeetna Village Park. The concerts feature bands from Alaska and the lower 48. Today's band is Hussy Hicks.
