Upper Susitna Seniors host Breakfast with Santa at the Upper Susitna Community and Senior Center on Saturday, December 20th from 10:00 to 11:30am. All are welcome to enjoy breakfast, Santa will be there with gifts for kids. You may call (907)733-6200 for more information.

The Denali Nordic Ski Club hosts a Solstice Stroll on Saturday, December 20th at 6 pm. There might not be enough snow to ski but that is not stopping them from celebrating Solstice. All are invited to meet at Whigmi trail head, there will be hot drinks and a fire. Please bring your own chair.

The Talkeetna Library’s Teen Book to Movie program this month is featuring the book and movie, I am Number Four, written by Pattacus Lore. The program is on Saturday, December 20th, beginning at 6pm. Teens ages 13-18 are welcome, pizza and snacks will be served. January’s book, The Hunger Games: Ballads of Songbirds and Snakes, will be available to take home and read.
