The Talkeetna Public Library hosts a weekly afterschool program called Reading Tuesdays. Students are welcome to come and read, work on homework or a craft, and spend time with friends from 3:15 until 5pm every Tuesday. Sunshine Transit is available to pick up students at Talkeetna Elementary School and bring them to the library. Permission slips are required. The Talkeetna Sunshine Gardening Club is starting up again at the Talkeetna Library. They will be meeting to discuss Transplanting Seedlings today, Tuesday April 14th at 5pm. The next meeting times and dates will also be discussed. The yearly Seed Catalog is stocked. A wide variety of seeds are available for taking and planting in your gardens.
