The Susitna River Coalition is hosting a live virtual event in their Winter Speaker Series on Thursday, January 29th at 6:30 PM, streaming on Zoom and Facebook Live. The topic is Alaska's Energy Landscape: past, present and future. Presenters are Doug Johnson of ORPC Alaska on the topic of emerging renewable energy technologies, followed by Dr. Philip Wight of UAF, exploring the history of electrification in Alaska’s Railbelt—and how past decisions still shape the future of Alaskans.

Denali Arts Council hosts the 5th show of their performing arts season; Choir! Choir! Choir! at the Sheldon Community Arts Hangar, on Thursday, January 29th This is a fully interactive, participatory show that turns the audience into the performers with a a Queen sing-along.
