Trapper Creek Public Library hosts their Summer Reading Program and Lunch on the Lawn at 12:30pm on Wednesdays, through August 6th. Bags of food from the Upper Susitna Food Pantry's Summer Backpack Program are available to pick up between 11 am and 6 pm. There will be curling Monday and Wednesday evenings at the Talkeetna Elementary Jack MacDonald Ice Rink. There will be draws at 5pm, 6pm and 7pm. Registration and more information at talkeetnacurling.org.

Strong Women exercise group meet on Tuesdays and Thursday at 10am in person at the Talkeetna Public Library and on Zoom.  Newcomers are welcome, weights and instructions are provided. For more information, you may call the library at 907-861-7645.

Here’s what’s coming up at the Willow Public Library:

• Willow Library Mentoring Program meets each Wednesday from 3:15 to 4:30pm. This program is open to all Willow Elementary Students. Additional mentors are needed.
• Story Time followed by free play in the Community Center is on Thursdays at 11am. This is geared toward ages 0-5, but all are welcome.
