    KTNA's Annual Decadent Dessert Auction is this week! Tune in daily as we auction off delicious, locally-crafted works of art. The live, on-air auctions are held at 2pm and 8pm Monday through Thursday. On Friday we are hosting on-air auctions at 1 pm and 2pm. Then our finale is during a Decadent Dessert skit at the Complexities of Love variety show at the Sheldon Community Arts Hangar on Friday and Saturday evenings.     Talkeetna Public Library's Reading Mentors program is on Tuesdays at 3:15pm. This program is for 1st through 3rd graders and is designed to help new readers get experience and confidence in reading out loud. Transportation from Talkeetna Elementary School to the library will be provided by Sunshine Transit.     Volunteers with the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide program will be available to help community members with preparing and filing income taxes. Preparation will happen on Wednesdays, beginning February 4th, alternating each week between the Houston City Hall and the Upper Susitna Community & Senior Center.

    It's Fiber February at Denali Arts Council and organizers are looking for someone who would like to teach a needle felting workshop. Workshops will be on February 15th and 22nd.
