    Mountain High Pizza Pie

    The band Triple Black Diamonds perform as part of a campaign to raise awareness for Multiple Sclerosis on Saturday, June 27th starting at 7pm at Mountain High Pizza in Talkeetna. You can learn more about their campaign with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society online.

  • Roustabout Circus Show – Denali Arts Council

    Denali Arts Council host a Roustabout Show on Sunday, June 28th at the Sheldon Community Arts Hangar.
    The 2026 Green Light Circus instructors will showcase their talents for the public. Doors open at 2:30 and the show will begin at 3:00pm. Donations are welcome.

  • Talkeetna Recycling Committee Meeting

  • Super Spruce trees available

  • Jazz Workshop Performance – Denali Arts Council

    Sheldon Community Arts Hangar

    Denali Arts Council presents a jazz performance featuring Maestro Rocco John Iacovone /E-ya-ka-vone-ay/ and local Jazz Workshop participates on Thursday, July 2nd at the Sheldon Community Arts Hangar. Rocco is a composer, musician, teaching-artist  and plays Alto and Soprano Saxophones and Piano. Doors at 6:30pm and music at 7pm. Tickets are available at denaliartscouncil.org

  • Kids Softball – Upper Susitna Softball Association

    Talkeetna Ball Field Talkeetna, AK

    The Upper Susitna Softball Association is offering all kids complementary hot dogs and hamburgers for participating in a softball game and skills competition again this Friday, July 3rd starting a 3:30 PM at the Talkeetna ball field. The fun will conclude before Live at 5. Age is restricted to around 5-13 years old.

  • Talkeetna Historical Society seeking artists

    Talkeetna Museum

    The Talkeetna Historical Society is seeking artists to decorate wooden salmon cutouts for their upcoming Salmon Run Art Auction fundraiser. The completed artwork is due by July 15th. Those who are interested may stop by the museum or call Autumn at (907)304-0321 to coordinate a pickup time. The museum is open every day from 9am to 5pm. 

  • Volunteer Trail Work Weekend – Alaska Trails

    Alaska Trails is organizing a two-day volunteer event, July 25th and 26th, on Ermine Hill Trail in Denali State Park. Volunteers will replace one of the foot bridges and repair sections of trail tread to allow for proper drainage. Hiking is challenging on steep terrain with between 3-4 miles total hiked each day.  Volunteers will work both Saturday and Sunday from 8:30 to 3:30pm and have the opportunity to camp at Byers Lake Campground.
