Talkeetna Library hosts their Teen Book to Movie program on Saturday, March 28th from 6 to 8pm. The movie this month is Stardust, based on the book by Neil Gaiman. Teens aged 13 to 18 are invited to discuss the book, enjoy the movie and share some pizza. This is the last one for the season.

Mat-Su libraries are closed on Monday March 30th for Seward's Day. This includes Trapper Creek, Talkeetna and Willow Public Library.

Talkeetna Elementary PTA hosts Competitive Pickleball for knowledgeable players seeking competitive bouts from 5 to 8 pm on Wednesday, April 1st. Attendees will rotate through games of four players at a time, equipment is available if you do not have your own. Wednesday evening pickleball is held at Talkeetna Elementary School's gym, play will move outside to the hockey rink when weather and temperatures permit. The Upper Susitna Seniors are hosting an Easter egg hunt with egg dying, games and a cake walk on Saturday, April 4th from 10-11:30am at the Senior Center. All are welcome. Kids should bring a basket or bag for the hunt.

Trapper Creek Community Services Association hosts an Easter Egg Hunt with Games and Activities on Saturday, April 4th at the Trapper Creek Community Center, beginning at 11am. The Egg Hunts are scheduled by ages; children 4 and under from 11-11:30am, ages 5 to 8 from 11:45am to 12:15pm, ages 9-12 from 12:30-1pm, and ages 13+ from 1:15 to 1:45pm. Denali Arts Council hosts their monthly First Saturday Arts Show from 4 to 6pm on Saturday, April 4th at the Sheldon Community Arts Hangar. Denali Arts Council hosts their last Arctic Entries storytelling event of the season at the Sheldon Community Arts Hangar on Saturday, April 4th.
