  • Complexities of Love Rehearsals – Denali Arts Council

    Denali Arts Council is holding auditions for their annual variety show, Complexities of Love. If you have a talent you’d like to share—dance, music, comedy, poetry, puppetry, or anything else—they’d love to hear from you. Four rehearsals are scheduled on Sundays January 18th through February 8th, from 3 to 5 pm at the Sheldon Community Arts Hangar. You must attend one of these rehearsals and audition for Jenny in order to be included in the show.

  • Soccer Coach needed – Talkeetna Elementary School

    Talkeetna Elementary is seeking a coach to lead their 3rd–5th grade soccer program March 17 through May 7th, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3-4:30pm. Coach teaches basic skills and holds scrimmages, no travel for games required. Applicants must be able to communicate effectively with participants and families, complete MSBSD coach requirements, including application, fingerprinting, and background check at the Administration Bldg. in Palmer. This is the prequel story of the Hunger Games series. Teens 13 to 18 are invited for pizza and snacks and lively discussion on the book and its movie.
