Talkeetna Historical Society and Denali Arts Council present Music in the Wild on Tuesday, July 30th beginning at 7:30pm in the Talkeetna Historical Society Gardens. A trio with guitar, viola and clarinet will be performing Michael Dickerson’s Love Songs. All are welcome for this event, bring your own chairs.

Timber Tots, a toddler and preschool program that employs storytelling, play, and art, is every Wednesday at 10am through August 7th, at Denali Education Center in Talkeetna. This free program is for ages 2 through 5, children must be accompanied by an adult. Older siblings are welcome.

The Willow Farmers Market begins on Friday, June 21st from 2 to 7pm at the Willow Community Center, mile 69.5 on the Parks Highway. The Market will run every Friday through September 6th.

Absentee Voting for the Primary Election begins on Monday, August 5th.  Voting can be done at the Talkeetna Library from 11am to 6pm, Monday through Saturday, until Monday, August 19th.

Absentee, Early Voting for the Primary Election can be done at the Talkeetna Public Library from 11am to 6pm, Monday through Saturday, until Monday, August 19th. Early voting is also available at the Trapper Creek Public Library through August 19th. There is no in-person early voting option in the Willow area.
