Absentee Voting for the Primary Election begins on Monday, August 5th.  Voting can be done at the Talkeetna Library from 11am to 6pm, Monday through Saturday, until Monday, August 19th.

Absentee, Early Voting for the Primary Election can be done at the Talkeetna Public Library from 11am to 6pm, Monday through Saturday, until Monday, August 19th. Early voting is also available at the Trapper Creek Public Library through August 19th. There is no in-person early voting option in the Willow area.

Today is the last Timber Tots for the season. This toddler and preschool program that employs storytelling, play, and art, begins at 10am on August 7th, at Denali Education Center in Talkeetna. Saturday, August 10th is a Youth Artist Showcase featuring participants from the Upper Susitna Valley Fine Arts Camp, Youth Jam Night, and Stage Lights programs.
