Willow Winter Carnival is looking for musicians or dance groups
The Willow Winter Carnival is looking for musicians or dance groups to perform on stage during the four day Carnival. The Carnival is filled with outdoor and indoor events with vendors and food at the Willow Community Center. Performances are scheduled for approximately an hour. Alex Zerbe the Zaniac – Denali Arts Council
Sheldon Community Arts HangarAs a part of the Denali Arts Council’s Performing Arts Season, they host a family-friendly action-comedy with Alex Zerbe the Zaniac, on Wednesday, October 1st at the Sheldon Community Arts Hangar. Talkeetna Public Library TalkeetnaThe Talkeetna Public Library is offering support to help people register to vote. The next election is on November 4th, which means you must register by October 5th in order to have your vote count. Help is available at the Talkeetna Library during open hours, 11am to 6pm, Monday through Saturday. Absentee in-person voting will be held at the library beginning October 20 through November 3rd. Wild Su Feast – Susitna River Coalition
Denali Brewing CompanyThe 9th Annual Wild Su Feast is scheduled for Sunday, October 5, from 5 pm to 8 pm at Denali Brewing Company, located at Mile 2 of the Talkeetna Spur Road. The event, hosted by the Susitna River Coalition, features a community potluck and cooking competition with foods that walked, swam, flew, or grew in the Susitna Watershed. The Talkeetna Community Council Inc. Board of Directions is accepting nominations for 3, two-year term seats to be included on the November 4th ballot. Residents of legal voting age, eligible to vote in MatSu borough elections, and whose primary residence is within the Talkeetna Community Council boundaries are eligible. All nominees must complete a Declaration of Candidacy Form which is available at talkeetnacouncil.org.

Public Information Meeting for Susitna Forestry Guidelines
Tuesday, October 7, the Alaska Division of Forestry & Fire Protection is hosting a virtual Public Information Meeting regarding the revision of the Susitna Forestry Guidelines.
