Neff talks candidly about the Copper Basin 300 as a great test race ahead of longer races like the Quest, and why Mushers will often race just so they can be out on their sleds in far-flung corners of Alaska.

Yaks Run Loose on Talkeetna Spur Road
At least twice this summer, yaks have been spotted running loose along the Talkeetna Spur Road. Mat-Su Borough Animal Control has opened a case for multiple reports about the loose
