KTNA's One Day Fundraiser
KTNA’s One Day On-Air and Online Fundraiser is on Friday, June 25th! Help us continue to bring you quality on-air programming and online content. We can’t do it without you,
In addition, we will be hosting a lunch and evening barbecue. Lunch is from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. We’ll have sandwiches, soups and salad for all who stop by. The barbecue will start at 6:30 pm, and will run until 9:00. There will be beef and veggie burgers, hot dogs, bratwurst, grilled vegetables, fruit and salad. There will likely be cookies. There will also be live music. A teenaged band is back by popular demand.
KTNA will air some special, locally produced programming on the 25th as well. At 10:00 am, there will be a special Susitna Valley Voice. The topic of conversation will be the Village Park. We have several guests lined up and a pre-recorded editorial. Susitna Valley Voice is a live call-in program. Please feel free to call in with your opinions and questions.
At 1:00, we will air an interview with local KTNA contributor Doug Gualtieri and Encounters’ host and producer Richard Nelson. Mr. Nelson stopped by the KTNA studio when he was in Talkeetna in mid-May. The special program is an hour long.
At 8:00 pm, Stuart Carnegie and Tony Crocetto will host an hour long comedy special. Some of the material will be prerecorded, but some will be their unique blend of off-the-cuff humor. Stuart and Tony always welcome callers!
Please listen in, stop by, and help support local public radio. It’s only one day, but it is all day! We can take your pledges by phone or online. You can wait until Friday to make your donations, but you don’t have to. If you would like to make a donation online now, you may follow this link to do so: Pledge Now! We thank you in advance for all of your help and support.
