The new pavilion for Talkeetna Village Park is under construction this week. Contractors from Prism Construction raised the main supports on Tuesday, and by Wednesday evening the rafters for the roof were in place. Prism Construction has just the siding and the roof to install, and it should be in place by the end of the week.
The old Pavillion will be moved to Historical Society Property, where it will be re-used as a historical site.
